My Father-in-Law comes from Lancashire.
His parents, and his four grandparents were also from Lancashire.

But his Great-Grandparents ... ??

Well, his Greatgrandfather come from Ireland, and his Greatgrandmother came from Dorset.
Her family had been in Dorset for several generations.

So why did they come to Brinscall, in Lancashire ??
